There are some key differences in the responsibilities of each position. Employees in both gardener and landscape labour positions are skilled in grass, mowing, and hand tools. While the two careers have a salary gap, they share some of the same responsibilities. If we compare the average gardener annual salary with that of a landscape labour, we find that landscape labours typically earn a $3,865 lower salary than gardeners make annually.
